Salinity

My salinity is 1.027 i think thats a bit high right, what do i do to rbing ti down? I think to 1.022 right?

also i just started the tnak yesterday got the water and live sand are the only thing in ti now, when should i add live rock adn cycling fish?

1.025 is about good to me.

Slowly lower the salinity by simply putting the salinity you want into your tank in water changes. or if you have a smaller tank, put water with slightly lower than present salinity water in. like for example, if you have a 20 gallon tank, and you want to bring it down, put in 1.026 in the next water change, and keep putting in 1.026 until your tanks SG has settled at 1.026. Then after it has settled at the 1.026, start it on the next one down( in this case 1.025), and repeat until you reach the SG you want to keep the main tank at permanently
