Been playing with my aquarium for about 8 years...had to downsize about 5 years ago when I moved. :( Now have a 30 gallon reef with PCs (and moonlight - cool at night!) and a CPR skimmer. Decided to forgo the filter for while and see how things go.
A Sixline Wrasse (Pseudocheilinus hexataenia) is my only fish.
I also have:
two Marble shrimps (Saron marmoratus) that are so far leaving my corals alone,
one Emerald Green Crab (?),
one Common Dancing Shrimp (Rhynchocinetes durbanensis),
one Slender Sea Cucumber (Holothuria impatiens),
two Red Hermit Crabs (Paguristes cadenati).
Corals include:
Mushroom Coral (Sarcophyton ehrenbergi),
Leather Coral (Sinularia dura),
Green Button polyps (Protapalythoa spp.),
Bright Green and Purple/Blue Mushroom anemone (Discosoma sp. A),
Mushroom anemone (Discosoma sp. B),
Meat Coral (Lobophyllia hemprichii) – newest purchase and damaged from shipping,
Trumpet Coral (Caulastrea furcata) that is splitting again…yippee,
Frogspawn Coral (Euphyllia divisa).
Am planning to add another coral or two and possibly a clam. Other than that, I'm quite happy with my tank and plan to keep it simple.
Look forward to learning lots from you all! :)
