What is the general preference out there? I know that some fish species function better alone, some in pairs, some in groups etc. etc. But is there a general rule or guide as to the total number of fish in a tank? For some strange reaon, I'd really prefer an odd number, say 3 or 5 (I only have a 20 gallon, FO tank). But is this a bad idea as far as one fish being ganged up upon?
