I have a question for anyone that has an answer???????I am setting up a 80-90 gal. tank and I had a question, I am kinda stuck and pick.I want to get some opinions on these ideas.I either want to use the Marineland Magnum Canister 350 Pro system with the dual Bio-Wheels for wet/dry or the (2) Emeperor 400 Bio-Wheels System. On either one I am going to be running a Seaclone Protein skimmer.Anyone with comments or experience with any of these products,Please,HELP ME OUT before I drive myself insane.

THANKS,TAylor

i would use 1 magnum, and one emperor,

magnum pro 350 this is a good canisterfilter, it runs great, and is pretty easy to clean, it polish's the water, and can also house chemical filtration. i have used these for years. the downside is that the bio wheel on the magnum's suck, they dont spin very will are a constant head ache. i would just get the magnum with the quick disconnect's, but scrap the bio wheel.

Emperor i really like the emperor and is the only bio wheel device that is dependable, penguins, and other bio wheels cant touch the emperor. i have used these in combo with the magnums for years, if you dont have a wet dry, then this is one of the next best thing's.

for protein skimmer's i like the berlin hang on by red sea, they are spendy, but in this hobby you get what you pay for. no sense buying a skimmer for40-100 dollars just to find out it isnt working that great, and has alot of problems, and then go out and have to spend more money on a good one. i ahve used berlins for over 10 years, they work great, and i have all my original skimmer's still
