I am currently putting together a 90 gal marine fish-only aquarium.I was wondering would it be okay to use two biowheel 400 filters to filter it out.I am asking because I am not that sure of how all the wet-dry filters work.Any answers would help on that as well as any filtration setup suggestions.

Could any suggestions given on setups please be pretty specific because I dont know that much about them at all.I also would like to know if I will need a protein skimmer.also what about an overflow,I dont know what it is but I'd like an explanation as well as a sump.Pretty much I am just looking for filtration suggestions. :? :?

for a 90 gal you should get a fuge, wet dry, and a skimmer. i dont know mucha bout them, but im sure lots of other people here can help you.

a few questions, were you going with live rock and fish?, or just fish? i would recommend a wet dry , they are great filtration. if you dont want a wet dry then get 2 emperor's. either way you are going to want to run a skimmer, and a wet dry makes it real easy to hook one up. for skimmer's i like the red sea berlin skimmer. (not turbo) they have a hang on so if you dont get a wet dry you can just hang it on the back

I think right now I am leaning more towrds the dual emperors and a skimmer. If I ran those two do you think that would be a preety good set-up or would I be looking at more problems further down the road.

P.S.Is there any way to plumb the biowheels to an overflow tank>

i think it would be o.k. i ran the same set up for along time, as far as plumbing i dont think it would work

it should be fine if its a FO tank or a FOWLR tank. with a reef you would probably want to run a wet/dry or at least a fuge. refugiams are very easy to keep, i highly reccomend one. you should research into them.
