What is the length of your 40? It is a nice setup
look at the info i sent you, i dont know how to add a pic or i would, the p.f.o. one is more money, but way nicer

I have to stick my opinion in here folks. Is it a good light (will it work)? Yes. Will your coral grow (calcify or increase in mass) and can you keep a wide range of charges under it? Yes. Will you get the best coloring out of LPS/SPS with a 175watt bulb? In my strong opinion, No.
My other concern pertains to the recommended height at which one would hang such a pendant. Let us pick a mid ground and say you hang it at 6" from the tank. At this height VHO's will produce dramatic less photosyntheticly available light. They simply will not penetrate enough, so you will be shelling out money for wattage without getting the PAR in return. If you were to use only acentic VHO's, and purely for aesthetic reasons, then this is of no concern, but if you are planning on getting the full value out of those bulbs I would suggest housing them separately so you can keep each bulb at the appropriate height for optimum benefit.
