mean tang

i ordered in a small blue atlantic tang in from reeftopia. it was very small when i first got him, and didnt even have his juv colors yet. it has been 2 months now, and he is a lil bigger that a quarter, he is starting to turn yellow, but this tang is just nasty. he fights with any fish, even if it's twice his size. i didnt know the atlantic blues could be so mean

It is really a "cross your fingers" situation with fish. Some are given very generalized behavior labels, but in truth it is a per fish basis thing.

I used to have an Atlantic Blue Tang, and he was actually quite the opposite of yours. Very timid, and started to starve as he hid all day.

What other fish is he housed with? Are any about the same size, shape or color as him? If so, he may mellow out as he gets a little bigger.
