i have a pair of black percs that are still juvenile and not showing the full black coloration. however, i see that one is shaking violently similar to my brother's cichlids when the cichlids breed. is this a sign of my clowns breeding? if it is, what should i do to ensure that they continue successfully? again, they still show the yellow/orange coloration so i am not sure they are mature enough to have babies.

The shaking is most likely the less dominant clowns way of showing subserviance to the more dominant. The more dominant will become the female. This is common behavior for male clowns with females. You may be witnessing the distribution of sexes in your aquarium.
