First Off I'd Like To Say Welcome....
I'm Not Sure What You Mean By n/o 50/50 Lighting, Would You Be Able To Tell Us The Wattage? That Will Make It Easier To Tell If Your Able To Add An Anemone.
n/o is noraml output and 50/50 is half white half blue.

Absolutely not!!!!!!!!
There is no such thing a a white anemone. This is actually a bleached and dying anemone. It requires very delicate and experienced care to have a chance at bringing it back from its near death state.
This so called " White Sabae Anemone " is most likely a Heteractis crispa or Heteractis malu. Both require good water quality and strong to intense lighting. It is a bad promotional scheme, that really needs to be stopped...
Sorry....

I agree with the above. As for another Anemone, I wouldn't. Your lighting is not strong enough. Although Anemone's main source of energy and food is not from light but food, it still wouldn't be wise.

Many species of Anemone's actually do feed quite heavily in the wild. Which is another consideration when keeping an anemone. That was a great point John.
My hat is off to you Shane. I am always happy to see new hobbyists researching their future inhabitants before buying them. You will find that with that attitude, you will have far less trouble in the future...
I appologize if I came across a bit rash in my last reply. But, you can definitely tell my true passion for these animals. I work in a retail LFS, but have absolutely no control over the setup designs or overall system health. So I am forced to watch these animals slowly waste away and die, or leave with a customers that will hopefully provide the best care possible for these animals.
I won't sell something to someone that I do not feel is going to take care of it properly. I have been repremanded for refusing to catch and bag things for customers. I have also been applauded by other customers for doing this. But in the end, I have to sleep with myself each night...
As long as they keep me on, I will do my best to provide the healthiest and most honest information I can. If they let me go eventually, I'll write a book.... lol

I wish all LFS had people like you but then most would be out of business

The way I see it, is that repeat business is what keeps any business going. If I make a sale today, and the customer is not happy with that sale for whatever reason, they will likely not come back.
But if I don't sell them something today, but give them good advice, what do you think they will do the next time they do need or want something?????? :)
I don't believe in the Corporate saying "The customer is always right". That would be a bad attitude for me to have, and possibly disasterous for these animals....

Well said. customers being wrong, but being treated as right has probably turn so many away from fish.. too bad:(
