Skimmer Pump

Hello!

I am currently making an external venturi skimmer using various size tubes and a Mazzei Injector (which I am told will be amazing) and have it all ready apart from a pump.

I have used an 802 powerhead just to see if it works in theory, but being that is does not have much pressure, it hardly creates any bubbles.

I am therefore looking to buy a pump with enough pressure to get this baby running like a beauty :)

1. Could anyone suggest a reasonable priced pump (£30-£40) in the UK...

2. If I wanted to have the skimmer under the tank and have just two tubes going to the tank, is there a way I could make sure the water goes out the outlet pipe rather than through the cup... Ignore the rules of gravity? :oops:

You'll have to remember, not many of us are from the U.K. and don't know much about the pricing there. Now back to the questions...did you figure them out, or did you still need help with them?
