Big Al's has been around for a while and they are a legitimate and reliable store. I have never heard any complaints, but I personally have not ordered from thier online store. You can find better prices though.

I ordered from them recently, and unlike the previous comment, I found they had THE LOWEST prices for what I was looking for, and charged a flat $7.95 rate for shipping, which came in a huge box....I'll look at the weight in a second. Okay, it was 10 lbs. That seems reasonable to me. On top of that, they shipped my order the next day, so my order on Wednesday came on a Monday.
Not too shabby.

OH! I forgot to mention, they sent me a Marineland Aquareminder, and another cute glass decoration FREE in my order. That was a fun surprise!

i ordered 150 dollars worth of equip bc it's the cheapest i found. actually, my brother found what he wanted off of the site and i was just a 'stowaway'. hahahi ordered it last thursday and it's been over a week. i hope it comes in soon.

Um....I'm not POSITIVE, but I believe it may come from Ontario, and being that I'm in Buffalo, that's like walking distance. So that could be why I got it so quickly.

finally got my items. they were out of the striplights though, so they'll send at a later date. it took over 2 weeks for it to reach me. i'll guess i'll do business with them, but i can't count on them being fast......
