 I got a niger trigger about 3 months ago before I had a reef tank. I am now converting to a reef. I now have learned about the dangers of triggers and reefs. Can I keep a Niger trigger in a 55 gall reef tank? Some people say yes with limited inverts and some people say no don't waste your time, thoughts?

I would say no because I wouldnt want the risk of loosing corals or other inverts you could take it back to the LFS and get some credit for it for other things you would like to have

I am alos on the no side, I would really enougre some of the things the trigger will eat and don't think it is worth it. I have seen it happen however...

That's what I figured. I did call my LFS and they said they will take it back and give me 1/3$ for what they sell them for. I just wanted to get as many opinions as possible before I part with a fish that I have got attached to. Thanks

I had two and they didn't bother my corals but they ate every shrimp, snail and hermit that I had. The only survivors were my emerald crabs. They even bit me :(
