adding reef

Hi all, Im new at this hobby and obviously have tons to learn :-D Is it possible in time after my tank is established, to eventually add a reef. Ill have FOWLR to start. Or If I wanted reef would you suggest I have just a seperate reef tank?

My tank by the way isnt set up yet, new 135 gallon tank.

That is a great idea, very common indeed. When time comes we can work with you to help to start turning into a reef, unless the time is now?

I think Ill stick with FOWLR for now just to see if I can handle this step first, but thank you. I will definately use you all when it comes to reefs

I would also like to add is when ya start out with a FOWLR you can work all the bugs out and get a nice rutine going so when ya deside to go to a reef things will be easier

I have had a FOWLR for 4 years... I am currently in the process of converting to a reef tank... You gotta do what you can afford!! I also think I have learned a ton by have a tank and hopefully I will be better equiped for a Reef tank!! (I did learn to research things before I jump into it :beatdown: so if just that it was a great learning experience!!)
