Before you go out and buy your first live Anemone, you must be aware of the level of care this animal requires. Lighting is a major consideration, not enough light and the anemone will slowly waste away. Less than ideal water quality is a sure way to stress an anemone to death. Salinity at NSW levels is a must.
So before going out and "trying to get lucky" with an anemone, make sure you want the responsibility of proper care, or let nemo keep his home.
If you think that an anemone is not for you, you may still be able to have one. This comes in the form of synthetic rubbers, that as long as they are kept clean, will look like anemones for years to come.
