I have a breeding pair of Amphiprion sandaconis clownfish. I do not have access to any cultures for breeding purposes. Anyone know a good place in Northeast Ohio, or on the web? Looking for Rotifiers and such.

I would suggest Golden Pearls. I get mine at http://www.kensfish.com/kensspecialtyfood.html
For Rotifers and such, I always get my culture supplies at Florida Aqua Farms http://www.florida-aqua-farms.com/ They sell all the supplies to grow your own phytoplankton as well. Best of all, they're cheap!

From what I have read so far, clownfish fry are to small to eat baby brine shrimp. Is that not true in your experience, or have you had better luck with Golden Pearls? What are the Golden Pearls actually, in respects to size of Rotifiers?
Thanks Paul.

Yes, if you look on RC, for an article by JHardman, he has a breeding post, and raising the fry post too!!

OK, well one of the clowns in the pair passed away about a week after introduction to this tank. The other one seems quite happy in his new surroundings.
I am going to setup a breeding system for The Eel Cleaner Shrimp ( Lysmata Amboinensis ). Here is a picture of my Phytoplankton Culture system, minus the 55 watt 10000K Power Compact bulb that will provide the light.
I am going to try and culture some of the species of Phytoplankton readilly available in my tanks, and will purchase an aquacultured sample if this doesn't pan out.
I will explain the details for this system in an upcoming article...
