I wouldn't say there is such a thing as too big! More water volume is always good, no matter where it is.

I also agree because it will also give you plenty of room to do things but the main improtance is more water volume

the ideal fuge woudl be ten to 20 times the main tank.
fyi so really most fuges are too small, but yours will be fine for your tank

ten to 20 times the water, so like a 10 would need a 200?

if you had a ten gallon reef, but a 200 gallon fuge, then how many of you out there would truly use the 200 for a fuge and not you main??? hahahah

Let's say you had a 400 gal tank. What would you use for a refuge then? A swimming pool?:)

A very smart person once said, "The best solution for pollution is dilution"
I am currently planning a 10 gallon tank for my son's room with a 20l for a fuge.
Some people down here are using 300 gallon stock tanks for thier sumps and fuge. They are setting them up in their garage and piping them through the walls.
