Frogspawns are hardy corals and a very receptive to fragging.
This can be in done two different ways.
1. Cut your colony in between the stalks. Where there is no flesh on the skeleton.
2. Clip the little tiny buds that grow aroung the base of "head" and glue that to a rock. That tiny little bud will grow into a full colony in a year or so.

that simple I have 5 little buds now growin in my tank

To clip the buds,
I used toe nail clippers to just snip them off as close to the base as possible. You don't want to cut into the flesh of the new bud. It is pretty easy actually and there should be plenty of buds on the mother colony, so if you screw a few up, its no big deal

and I am workin on the pics of the little guys

I know what you mean about crappy cameras. I have also found that using a tri-pod with digital cameras helps alot in getting rid of some of the fuzz. They seem to be extra sensitive to even the slightest vibrations.

I just got a nice camera today for my birthday. So look out here comes a lot of future pics.... :)

Okay...you said to cut between the stalks. I have this monster frogspawn, yeah that big guy in the middle of the pic, that has four stalks and has taken to reaching out it's tentacles and stinging the heck out of the nearby shrooms. It's a beautiful coral, but because of it's size and location needs to be fragged down to two stalks.

So...do I go at it with a dremel or just a plain old saw to get through the skeleton? Where the four stalks come together is about 1-2" wide at the base.

Oh, and once fragged, make me an offer if you want it :) I have no where else in the tank to put the other two stalks.

what kind of glue do you use?

Any type of super glue gel. The gel is much thicker than regular super glue and will form a bond better underwater than the thin glue. Duro makes a good one and Loctite is good too. Both available at Walmart or Home Depot/Lowes. Look for cyanoacrylate as the ingredient and the gel variety.

I agree another trick I learned is first dry off what you are gluing then place a dab of glue on one part then dip that part under water then attach it to what ever you are glueing to and it seems to attach much faster.
