I Love The Clams. What Are Dts. Do You Think 195 Watt Lighting With A 10k, 50/50 And An Atectonic Blue Bulbs Will be Good For Clams. What Are Dts?

i would run at least 300 watts dt is a phytoplankton

Oh Ok. What If I Put The Clams Towards The Top of The Tank And Get Lower Light Clams?

maybe go with derasas or squamosas but even then i wouldent suggest it. get 1 150watt mh on the tank and your good.

Well, to be able to answer your question, we need some more information on your set-up. How big, what "type" of lighting, what other inhabitants, how long has it ben set-up?

DT's is a Live Phytoplankton. It is much more benificial then Dead Phytoplankton IMO and IME. For more information on it click the following link: http://www.dtplankton.com/

Generally Derasa and Squamosa will do fin under lower lighting such as PC's and VHO's. You'll see a lot of Maxima and Crocea under PC lighting when they are small (under 4 inches) this is because in this stage they require phytoplankton to live and don't rely on light to much.

Ok, Its A 38 Gallon Tank With A Cpr Bak Pak 2r Skimmer, 2 Millenium 2000's And Some Calurpa Growing In My Sandbed. I Have 195 Watt Power Compact Lights With A 50/50, 10k And An Atectonic Blue 03
