Hey all. I know that the minimum Lr per gallon is 1 lb. but do you think 2 would be overkill? i just want to make sure, cause at current stage of planning, i am plannig on agout 100 lbs for my 55
i want 150 in my 55 :badgrin:

i have a 55 with about 120lbs lr, i wouldnt add any more but i definitly wouldnt take any out. it fills the tank and gives you many places to put corals, the only problem glass 55's are only like 12"wide so my rock is touching both front and back, as long as you have strong powerheads there wont be mush dead spots. i have 3 maxi jet 900, and have no problem

yea, i had intended to have a lot of current through msot spot, bu ill watch to make sure i daont overfill
I have 90 in my 55 works out great, could use some more as well!!!

mine has about 70 in my 50 reef. it only has 70 since i took out almost 30 to put bigger corals.

Yes I have LR under 20w floresent lighting. 10,000k and 100% Actinic.
