Euphyllia glabrescens or more commonly known as Torch Coral, is one of my favorite LPS corals. It does best under moderate water flow, and just about any wattage light above 35 watts per sq/ft/ of tank surface area. It grows fast if alkalinuity and calcium are maintained at or above NSW.

Sorry for taking so long, here is a bit of info I have gathered on my little Torch buddy......
Family: CARYOPHYLLIIDAE
Scientific name: Euphyllia glabrescens
Common name(s): Branching Coral, Torch Coral
Growth forms: Phaceloid
Lighting requirements: Moderate - Intense indirect light
Current requirements: Low - Moderate indirect current
Natural Locations: Lagoon reefs in turbid water
Comments: Although this species may tolerate more intense currents, this comes at a risk of developing long deadly sweeper tentacles, and even tissue recession. They prefer turbid water conditions (higher nutrient waters with a low flushing rate). They prefer a hard substrate to mount to, versus a sandy bottom. And protecting the tissue surrounding the outside of the skeleton from excess current is a must during acclimation. If provided with adequate lighting and Calcium additions, this coral is a fast growing easily propagated.
I got this coral with a Amphiprion percula clownfish. He had adopted the coral as his sarogate anemone. The coral didn't seem to mind him to much. The poor clown took a carpet ride a couple days late, and I found him too late.
Oh to bad for that fish! :(

so would u recamend one for a 30 gal
The Size Of A Tank Does Not Matter For Corals Once Your Above Like A 20 Gallon Tank.
Best to get a smaller one, just watch it does not sting anything!
Yes, Keep It A Safe Distance Away From Other Corals
